Policy Director at Center for Humane Technology

Camille Carlton is the Senior Policy & Communications Manager at the Center for Humane Technology. Camille has also worked as an Affiliated Scholar with the CITRIS Policy Lab, researching the effects of laws proposed in the EU and US on third-party data access for research. Camille has also worked as the Policy Research and Communications Lead for Technology at BRIE/CITRIS, and as a Masters Graduate focused on Development, Technology and Society at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Prior to their work in policy and research, Camille worked in marketing and business development for Nightingale Apps and Smartleaf.

Camille Carlton has a Master of Science from the London School of Economics and Political Science in Development Management. Camille also has a Bachelor’s Degree in International Affairs with a Concentration in Social Entrepreneurship & Business from Northeastern University. Camille has also done field research on social entrepreneurship and poverty, development, and immigration in Bali, Indonesia as part of Northeastern University’s Dialogue of Civilizations Program. Camille is a certified UX professional from the Nielsen Norman Group.
