Lien Vandamme

Lien Vandamme currently serves as a Senior Campaigner for Human Rights and Climate Change at the Center for International Environmental Law (CIEL) since October 2021. Prior to this role, Lien was a Policy Officer for Climate and Natural Resources at 11.11.11 from May 2015 to October 2021, where responsibilities included advocacy on climate justice, policy development, and collaboration with organizations in Central Africa, Latin America, and Asia, as well as acting as the policy coordinator for the Belgian Climate Coalition. Lien's earlier experience includes roles at WWF-Belgium as a Forest & Sustainable Food Policy Assistant and an International Programs and Policy Intern, along with a consultancy role at Oxfam America focusing on climate change adaptation. Lien holds a Master of Science in Climate Studies from Wageningen University & Research, a Master of Science in Comparative and International Politics, and a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences from KU Leuven.
