Senior Director Of Communications at Center for Internet Security

Jason Billington has extensive experience in communications and leadership roles. Jason is currently the Senior Director of Communications at the Center for Internet Security, where they have been since February 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Communications at the same organization from July 2021 to February 2023. Before joining the Center for Internet Security, Jason worked in various positions at the US Army and the United States Department of Defense. From June 2018 to July 2020, they were the Director of Communications & Outreach, Northeast Region, at the US Army. Jason also held the position of Deputy Director of Communications, Northeast Region, from June 2016 to June 2018. At the United States Department of Defense, they served as the Program Director of Distance Learning (Public Relations Certification) from May 2013 to December 2015 and as the Lead Instructor of Public Relations & Journalism from June 2012 to December 2015. Jason's career at the US Army began in June 2009, where they initially worked as the Director of Operations until June 2010 and later as the Director of Communications until May 2012.

Jason Billington received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology from the United States Military Academy at West Point, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. In 2015 to 2016, they pursued a Master's degree in Public Relations & Corporate Communications from Georgetown University.
