Arnicia S.

Arnicia S. is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in IT security operations. Currently serving as the Senior Director of IT Security Operations at the American Red Cross since May 2020, Arnicia S. has previously held significant roles such as Director of Cyber Security Operations (DCISO) at the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority from January 2004 to May 2020. In this capacity, Arnicia S. led diverse teams in various cybersecurity disciplines and continuously enhanced the cybersecurity program through innovative strategies. Earlier positions include Deputy Chief IT Security and Information System Security Officer, where Arnicia S. managed system studies, implemented security log retention systems, and conducted compliance initiatives. Arnicia S. holds a Master of Science in Computer Science with a concentration in Network Security from Bowie State University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
