Sean Cavanaugh

Sean Cavanaugh serves as the Chief Policy Officer and Chief Commercial Officer at Aledade, Inc. since 2017, also holding the role of Chief Administrative Officer. Cavanaugh is a member of the Board of Directors for the Center for Medicare Advocacy and acts as an advisor for Omada Health, both since 2017. From 2011 to 2017, Cavanaugh was the Deputy Administrator and Director of the Center for Medicare at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, previously serving as the Deputy Director for Policy and Programs at CMMI. Other notable positions include Director of Health Care Finance at the United Hospital Fund of New York and Assistant Vice President for Financial Planning at Lutheran Healthcare. Cavanaugh's early career includes roles such as President of an independent consultancy, Program Director at the NYC Mayor's Office of Health Insurance Access, and Principal Deputy Director at the Maryland Health Services Cost Review Commission. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
