Blaine Butler

Blaine Butler is an experienced professional in the field of chemistry and product development, currently serving as a Product Owner at the Center for Open Science since June 2022. Prior to this role, Blaine worked as a Technical Support Scientist at MicroGEM from February 2021 to June 2022, and as a Technical Consultant at BB Consulting from January 2020 to February 2021. Blaine's earlier experience includes a significant tenure as a Materials Chemist at Luna Innovations from June 2007 to January 2020, along with a position as a Lab Instructor at James Madison University from September 2009 to May 2011. Blaine holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, earned from James Madison University from 1997 to 2001, and further academic experience at UC Santa Barbara from 2001 to 2004.
