Spring Gaines

Spring Gaines is currently working as a Research and Policy Manager at the Center for Planning Excellence (CPEX). Prior to this role, Spring held positions such as Policy Associate at CPEX, 2022 Knauss Marine Policy Fellow at Sea Grant, and Government Relations Intern at ASPCA. Spring has also worked as a Research Assistant at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and a Legal Clerk at the Center for Biological Diversity. With a Master of Laws in Environmental Law and a Doctor of Law in Environmental Law from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, Spring's academic background complements their extensive professional experience in marine education and wetlands conservation.
