David Martin

David Martin is the Data Science Director on the Data-Driven Interventions team at the Center for Policing Equity (CPE). David provides leadership on methodological innovation and technical implementation of reporting products within the Data Driven Initiatives team.

David holds an MA in political science from the University of Georgia and pursued doctoral studies in political psychology at Stony Brook University. He draws on an academic background in the psychology and politics of identity as well as experience as a consultant in data science, research design and polling for clients in political campaigns, nonprofits and commercial firms. Originally from Athens, Georgia, he lives in Washington, D.C.
