Yunfeng (Winfred) Zhao is currently a Research Analyst at Emory Impact Investing Group, focusing on measuring financial literacy among micro-enterprises in Atlanta through comprehensive research and analysis. Previously, Yunfeng served as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Zhongtai Securities and as a Research Analyst Intern at Consulting by Kantar, where responsibilities included developing survey instruments and synthesizing data for project reports. Additionally, experience as an Analyst Intern at Student Medicover involved researching the healthcare insurance market and creating user manuals for insurance products. Yunfeng is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Mathematics at Emory University, expected to graduate in May 2025, after completing a high school diploma at Shandong Experimental High School in 2021.
Emory Impact Investing Group
Founded in 2014, Emory Impact Investing Group (EIIG) is Emory University's only undergraduate student-run impact investing organization. Our mission is to provide microloans to local entrepreneurs who lack access to capital. We aim to close the microbusiness gap in traditionally high poverty areas by increasing the number of successful small businesses. We direct our efforts in pursuit of this goal by providing early-stage financing, knowledge, and networks necessary for the sustainable growth of a business.
