Kassandra Colón

Kassandra "Kassie" Colón possesses extensive experience in youth engagement and organizational leadership. Currently serving as the Youth Action Research Team Manager at Deep Center, Kassandra employs arts-based and youth-centered practices to facilitate workshops that connect youth experiences with community and systemic issues. Kassandra founded and directed Project La Resolana, focusing on grassroots initiatives and literature engagement, while also holding a Program Assistant position at West Virginia University where various departmental functions were supported. Kassandra's roles have included coaching debate teams, directing educational summer programs, and developing resources for marginalized communities. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts from West Virginia University, with studies in Latin American and Caribbean Studies, Women's and Gender Studies, and Geography, enhanced by a semester abroad in Spanish and Linguistics at La Universidad de Guanajuato.
