Senior Director - Strategy, Impact And Learning at Center for Reproductive Rights

Fiona Barr has a wide range of work experience in the field of reproductive rights and public health. Fiona has held senior positions at various organizations, including the Center for Reproductive Rights, the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI), and the International HIV/AIDS Alliance. Fiona's roles have involved strategy, impact evaluation, monitoring, resource mobilization, and program development. Fiona has also worked at Population Services International, Marie Stopes International, the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, and Population Concern, gaining experience in research, field management, and information management. Fiona's work experience spans over 28 years, starting in 1993 and continuing to the present.

Fiona Barr obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Geography & Economics from SOAS University of London, attending from 1987 to 1990. Later in 1991-1992, they pursued an M.Sc.(Econ) in Population Policies & Programmes at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd. Fiona went on to further their education at the University of Liverpool, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Adolescent Reproductive Health, completing their studies in 2001.
