Kelly Krause has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Kelly started their career as a Legislative Intern for Senator Charles Schumer in 2009. Kelly then worked as a Freelance Writer at GateHouse Media from December 2011 to May 2012.
In 2012, Kelly joined the ASPCA as a Media & Communications Manager. In this role, they created and implemented national media strategies to raise awareness of animal welfare issues and the ASPCA's work. Kelly also served as the Associate Producer of the ASPCA documentary "Second Chance Dogs" and cultivated relationships with journalists and producers. Kelly worked at the ASPCA until April 2017.
