Komlan Donal Lonergan has had a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Komlan Donal started their career as a professional football player for TSG Schwäbisch Hall 1844 v.E from July 2002 to November 2004. After that, they worked as an Assistant Project Manager at Direct Impact (DI) from September 2005 to February 2008. Komlan Donal then joined Population Services International (PSI) as an International Business Systems Trainer and Analyst from February 2008 to January 2012.

Komlan's career then took him to the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), where they served as a Global ERP Project Manager from April 2012 to September 2016. Following that, they worked at Chemonics International as the Director of Digital Transformation from September 2016 to February 2018. Komlan Donal then joined the International Rescue Committee as a Senior Project Manager in 2018 and contributed until 2019.

Most recently, Komlan held the position of Senior Director Global Operations and Information Technology at the Center for Reproductive Rights starting in 2019. In 2020, they ventured into entrepreneurship and became a Co-Founder of Design Sapient.

Komlan Donal Lonergan has a diverse education history. Komlan Donal obtained a Master of Science in Global Affairs (MSGA) with a focus on International Business, Economics, and Development from New York University between 2011 and 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Government at William & Mary from 1998 to 2002. Komlan Donal also pursued further studies at Howard University, earning a Graduate Certificate in International and Africa Studies from 2007 to 2008.

In addition to their academic degrees, Komlan Donal Lonergan has obtained several certifications. Komlan Donal completed a Professional Certificate in Cybersecurity from Ithaca College in April 2021. Komlan Donal also earned a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in May 2014.
