Community and Local Foods Team

The Community and Local Foods Team at the Center for Rural Affairs works to strengthen rural communities by promoting sustainable local food systems, supporting beginning farmers, and fostering community organizing. Team members collaborate with native communities, assist local food initiatives, and advocate for social and economic justice to ensure equitable opportunities and environmental stewardship in rural areas.
