Anna Johnson is currently working as a Policy Program Associate at the Center for Rural Affairs since August 2016, focusing on crop insurance, conservation, and beginning farmers. Anna is also a Graduate Student Researcher at Iowa State University conducting research on agricultural labor in Midwest specialty cropping systems. Prior to that, Anna has held positions at the USDA Office of Budget and Program Analysis, Chesapeake Bay Foundation, and Crabapple Farm. Anna holds a Master's Degree in Sustainable Agriculture and Sociology from Iowa State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Yale University.
