Yalda Tehranian-Uhls is the Founder and CEO of the Center for Scholars & Storytellers at UCLA, where Yalda focuses on advancing youth-targeted storytelling by incorporating child development research and social science insights. Yalda is also a Researcher and Educator at UCLA Psychology Department, where Yalda teaches undergraduate courses and conducts research. Additionally, Yalda has held positions at Common Sense Media, Google, MGM Pictures, Artisan, NEW LINE, and Sony, working in various roles related to film production and creative partnerships. Yalda holds a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from UCLA, an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management, and a Bachelor's degree in French Language and Literature from the University of California, Berkeley.
