Jessalynn Black, SHRM-CP, is a Human Resources Generalist at the Center for the Collaborative Classroom since September 2022, previously serving as a Human Resources Business Partner at The Save Mart Companies from January 2022 to September 2022. At The Save Mart Companies, responsibilities included directing initiatives to ensure equitable treatment of both corporate and union/non-union team members while fostering positive relationships. Prior experience includes roles as a Benefits Specialist at CalSTRS, where retirement estimates were analyzed and explained to members, and as a Health and Safety Analyst at the California State Lottery, where safety policies were developed in accordance with CalOSHA and OSHA standards. Jessalynn's earlier career includes positions at Nugget Market, Inc. and SaveMart Supermarkets. The educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources and Finance Risk Management from Sacramento State College of Business Administration and an Associate of Science in Business Administration for Transfer from Sierra College.
