Gilma Palma, MSW, PPSC has a Master of Social Work degree in Mental Health from the University of Southern California. Palma has experience working as a Psychiatric Social Worker at the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health and as an On-call Residential Counselor at the Center for the Pacific Asian Family. Palma has also interned at the Los Angeles Unified School District and El Centro de Ayuda. Gilma holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from California State University of Los Angeles.

Center for the Pacific Asian Family (CPAF) was founded to help address domestic violence and sexual assault in the Asian and Pacific Islander communities. Our mission is to build healthy and safe communities by addressing the root causes and the consequences of family violence and violence against women. Our vision is of an Asian and Pacific Islander community that embraces healthy relationships and works in partnership with other communities to eradicate all forms of violence.
