Chana Lebowitz

Chana Lebowitz, LMSW, is a dedicated clinical supervisor at the Center for Urban Community Services since June 2023 and serves as an OLP licensed professional at JCCA since February 2021, providing counseling and crisis intervention to youth and their families. With experience as a client care coordinator at Women In Need, Inc., Chana has facilitated therapeutic groups for women survivors of intimate partner violence and conducted comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments. Previous roles include psychotherapist and MSW intern at Interborough Developmental and Consultation Center, where individual and group therapy was provided, social work intern for NYC Council Member Ben Kallos, as well as counselor for at-risk teens at Imeinu Inc. Chana received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Charter Oak State College and a Master of Social Work from Wurzweiler School of Social Work.
