Jacob Kaufman-Waldron

Jacob Kaufman-Waldron has extensive experience in media relations and communications, currently serving as Deputy Director for Media Relations at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities since August 2015. Jacob's roles at the organization have included Media Strategist and Manager, Media Relations Manager, Communication Specialist, and Communications Associate, in addition to starting as a Media Intern. Jacob contributed as an Economic area team member during the Biden-Harris Presidential Transition from November 2020 to January 2021 and served as Finance Director for Leon Stavrinakis for Mayor from January 2015 to July 2015. Additional experience includes Campaign Manager for Joe McCulloch for SC House District 75 and Policy Research Intern at the SC House Democratic Caucus. Jacob's earlier roles include internship positions at the S.C. Budget and Control Board and the University of South Carolina, where Jacob also obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
