Meg Gray Wiehe

Meg Gray Wiehe currently serves as the Vice President for State Fiscal Policy and Communications at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities since September 2023. Concurrently, Meg holds the position of Visiting Professor of the Practice at Duke University Sanford School of Public Policy, where a graduate-level course on state and local tax policy is taught. Prior experience includes roles as Policy Campaign and Strategic Planning Consultant from March 2022 to September 2023, Deputy Executive Director and State Tax Policy Director at the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy from May 2010 to March 2022, and Policy Analyst/Outreach Manager at the North Carolina Budget and Tax Center from September 2006 to May 2010. Earlier professional roles involved positions at the Boston Museum Project, MASSPIRG, and MassPIRG. Meg holds a Master of Public Administration in Social Policy and Non-Profit Management from Syracuse University - Maxwell School and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Virginia.
