Marcel Berghuis

Marcel Berghuis has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Marcel started their career as an HR Consultant at FunktieMediair, working with clients in various industries. Marcel then moved to Publicis Groupe NL as an HR Manager before joining Mediq NV as an HR Program Manager. At Mediq NV, they were responsible for implementing corporate HR strategies and leading global HR programs. Marcel later joined RTL Nederland as a Director of Human Resources, where they worked closely with business leaders to align HR programs with business objectives. Marcel also led a team of HR professionals and was a member of the global HR community. After their time at RTL Nederland, Marcel worked as the Director of Human Resources at SportCity, overseeing HR strategies and operations. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Human Resources Officer at Center Parcs.

Marcel Berghuis attended Saxion University of Applied Sciences from 1991 to 1995. Marcel then pursued further education at the London Business School, specializing in HR Strategy in transforming organizations. Marcel also completed a Leadership Development Program at the Center for Creative Leadership. Later on, Marcel enrolled in the HR-Executive Suite Connection 2023 program at Harvard Business School. Marcel further enhanced their skills by completing the Orchestrating Winning Performance course at IMD. Lastly, Marcel completed the Management Development Program at Nyenrode Business University.
