Mahiyah Sampson, MPA, currently serves as a Staff Assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives and has previously held roles such as Congressional Intern. Mahiyah also works as a Field Hockey Coach at Centercourt Sports Academy and has been a Girl Scout Leader and Program Manager at the Girl Scouts of Central & Southern NJ. Prior experience includes a position as a Graduate Consultant at the Mississippi Hospital Association, focusing on population health assessments, and a Student Assistant role at the University of Pennsylvania's Van Pelt-Dietrich Library. Additionally, Mahiyah has actively participated in leadership roles within the College Democrats of New Jersey and College Democrats of America. Alongside these positions, contributions were made as a Research Assistant and Career Ambassador at Kean University, as well as Call Time Manager at Sterling Strategies, LLC. Mahiyah holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Pennsylvania with a focus on Public Policy Analysis and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from Kean University.
