CJ Miyake, M.Ed., BCBA has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. They began their career as a Senior Therapist at the Center for Autism and Related Disorders, LLC. (CARD), where they worked from 2009 to 2013. During this time, they also took on the role of Game Designer and later became the Creative Director of CARD Games. In 2012, they transitioned into the role of an Internal Tools Developer, where they developed web products to meet the needs of clinicians using Ruby on Rails, Postgres, and Javascript.

From 2013 to 2021, CJ Miyake continued working at CARD, taking on positions such as New Program Developer, Clinical Supervisor, and Research Manager. In their role as a New Program Developer, they were responsible for developing new protocols, products, and tools for clinical staff and clients. Notably, they led a project focused on developing VR applications for both clients and staff. As a Clinical Supervisor, they provided guidance and support to clinicians, utilizing their clinical knowledge and experience. In their role as a Research Manager, they collaborated with the Research and Development team to create and implement new products based on research findings.

In addition to their work at CARD, CJ Miyake founded PixelAtion Labs in 2014, where they served as the Founder and Creative Director. They also had an earlier work experience as an Assistant English Teacher in the JET Program from 2005 to 2008, participating in grass-roots international exchange between Japan and other countries.

CJ Miyake, M.Ed., BCBA, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from UC Irvine in 2004. In 2013, CJ attended the Florida Institute of Technology and obtained a BCBA certification. The following year, in 2014, CJ completed the certification program at Florida Institute of Technology. In 2012, CJ Miyake received a Master's degree in Special Education and Educational Technology from Azusa Pacific University. Additionally, CJ obtained a BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) in June 2018.
