Kate Porter

Kate Porter, PE, has extensive experience in operational excellence and continuous improvement, currently serving as Vice President of Operational Excellence at CenterPoint Energy since October 2006. Prior roles at CenterPoint include Director of Continuous Improvement and Data Analytics, Director of SMS, Quality and Continuous Improvement, Distribution Integrity Manager, Project/Engineering Management Consultant, Manager of Gas Engineering, Engineer III, and Distribution Designer. Prior to joining CenterPoint, Kate held the position of Package Planner at UPS in the Sweetwater Division from December 2004 to October 2006. Kate Porter earned a degree from the University of Houston.
