Adriana Kita

Adriana Kita has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Adriana currently holds the position of Director, Analytical R&D, CMC Biologics at Centessa Pharmaceuticals since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc. as an Associate Director, AAV Gene Therapy Analytical Development from September 2020 to March 2023. Adriana also has experience working at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in various roles including Development Scientist II, Analytical and Pharmaceutical Development from January 2018 to August 2020, Development Scientist I, Analytical & Pharmaceutical Development from January 2016 to January 2018, and Development Scientist I, Protein Characterization from March 2013 to January 2016.

Before joining the pharmaceutical industry, Adriana was a Graduate Student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from September 2006 to December 2012. Adriana also had internships at Pfizer (Wyeth) in 2006 and 2005. In 2007, they worked briefly as an Associate Scientist at Biogen Idec.

Adriana Kita earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2002 to 2006. Adriana then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the same institution from 2006 to 2012.
