Matt Drapeau

Matt Drapeau has extensive work experience in the legal field, primarily focused on corporate and contracts law within the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.

Matt most recently held the position of Senior Director, Legal at Centessa Pharmaceuticals starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked as Senior Director, Senior Corporate Counsel at Tome Biosciences from 2022 to 2023 and as Senior Corporate Counsel at KSQ Therapeutics, Inc. from 2021 to 2022.

Matt also gained valuable experience at Epizyme where they served as Director, Contracts Counsel from 2020 to 2021 and Associate Director, Contracts Counsel from 2018 to 2020.

Matt began their career at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, holding multiple roles including Associate Corporate Counsel, Senior Clinical Contracts Specialist, and Contracts Paralegal from 2012 to 2016.

Matt also has experience outside of the legal field, including roles at Decision Resources as a Contracts Associate, Business Writer, and Associate Program Manager, as well as roles at Leerink Swann & Company as an Associate Editor, Thomson/Heinle as an Associate Production Editor, and MediaMap as a Senior Media Researcher, Internet.

Matt Drapeau attended Boston College from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Philosophy. Matt then went on to study at New England Law | Boston, formerly New England School of Law, from 2010 to 2014, obtaining a Juris Doctor degree. In November 2014, they were admitted to the Massachusetts Bar by the Massachusetts Board of Bar Examiners.
