David Pereira

David Pereira is an experienced software developer and co-founder with a strong background in C# and embedded systems. Currently serving as a Backend Developer at Centiro since May 2022, David focuses on innovative web technologies and utilizes Google Cloud Platform (GCP). As a co-founder of VeiLTech, David has developed a C# WPF desktop application that enhances file security through encryption, addressing GDPR compliance challenges. Previous experience includes a role at Capgemini Engineering as a Software Development Engineer, where David contributed to energy projects and automotive software development, adhering to ISO26262 standards. David's career began with an internship as an Automation Engineer at the Observatório Astronómico Prof. Manuel de Barros, alongside tutoring physics and chemistry. David holds a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto and studied at INSA Toulouse.
