Gengnan Li

Gengnan Li currently serves as a Principal Scientist at Centivax since January 2023. Previously, Gengnan worked as a Scientist researcher at the University of Florida from September 2022 to January 2023 and briefly held the title of Scientist I in the Drug Discovery Department at Absci in August 2022, where the offer was rescinded due to economic reasons. Gengnan's prior experience includes a postdoctoral researcher role at Scripps Research from August 2020 to June 2022, focusing on protein construct design for a polyketide synthase domain, resulting in significant increases in protein yield and successful crystallization. Gengnan also served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Florida from August 2014 to April 2020, specializing in molecular cloning and structural determination of enzymes in the microviridin biosynthetic pathway, along with acting as a Teaching Assistant for undergraduate research courses. Gengnan Li earned a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Florida in April 2020.
