Elizabeth Couchon

Elizabeth Couchon has extensive work experience in the field of clinical genetics and customer support. Elizabeth is currently serving as the Director of Clinical Genetics and Customer Support for Dx & Pharma at CENTOGENE since September 2020. Prior to this, they were the Senior Clinical Genetics Manager for the US region at CENTOGENE from September 2017 to September 2020.

Before joining CENTOGENE, Elizabeth worked as a Sr. Clinical Genomics Manager at Courtagen Life Sciences, Inc. from October 2015 to July 2017. Prior to that, they served as a Clinical Genetics Liaison at Transgenomic, Inc. from February 2014 to October 2015.

Their earlier work experience includes serving as a Medical Sciences Liaison at INTEGRAGEN from November 2010 to January 2014. Before that, they worked as a Senior Genetic Counselor at Athena Diagnostics from July 2003 to November 2010. Elizabeth also worked briefly as a Senior Genetic Counselor at GeneDx from September 2007 to June 2008.

Elizabeth Couchon received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Bioengineering from Western New England University in 1996. Elizabeth later pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Genetic Counseling/Counselor at Virginia Commonwealth University from 1999 to 2001.
