Le Vin Chin attended the Penang Free School from 1983 to 1985 and completed an SRP degree. From 1988 to 1989, they attended Sevenoaks School, where they pursued A-Levels in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Further Mathematics, and STEP Physics. Finally, from 1990 to 1993, they studied at the University of Cambridge, obtaining a BA (Hons), MA degree in Engineering and Management Studies, with one module in Architecture.
