Barbara Skodje-Mack

Barbara Skodje-Mack, EdD, LMFT, LPCC, RPT-S has a diverse and extensive work experience in the mental health field. Barbara has been working at CentraCare since 2017, initially as a Licensed Marriage And Family Therapist and currently as the Director of the Child & Adolescent Outpatient Behavioral Health & Partial Hospitalization Program. Barbara also served as a HealthySteps Ambassador at ZERO TO THREE from 2020 to 2022. Additionally, Barbara has worked as a Licensed Marriage And Family Therapist at True Balance Counseling and Mankato Mental Health Associates. Barbara has also held roles as an Adjunct Instructor and Graduate Assistant at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Art Director/Designer at Taylor Corporation.

Barbara Skodje-Mack, EdD, LMFT, LPCC, RPT-S earned a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Counselor Education and Supervision from Minnesota State University, Mankato, from 2019 to 2021. Barbara also obtained a Health Administration Graduate Certificate from the University of North Dakota between 2022 and 2023. Barbara holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Professional Community Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Play Therapy from Minnesota State University, Mankato (2001-2003). Barbara completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design and Fine Arts from the University of Minnesota Duluth (1996-1999). Additionally, Barbara attended the Lorenzo de' Medici School in Florence, Italy in 1998, where they focused on Oil Painting and Renaissance Art History.
