Sasa Recnik

Sasa Recnik is an experienced professional in client engagement and marketing within the financial sector. Currently serving as the Director of Client Engagement at Central 1 since September 2022, Sasa focuses on empowering credit unions and financial institutions to enhance banking choices for Canadians. Prior to this role, Sasa held multiple positions at Moya Financial Credit Union from June 2015 to September 2022, culminating in the Director of Marketing and Member Experience role, where Sasa was instrumental in defining and implementing the organization's digital vision. Previous experience also includes serving as Project Manager at GOOJA d.o.o. in Slovenia and various marketing and communications roles at Moya Financial Credit Union. Sasa holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Ljubljana and has furthered education at Universidade Lusófona in Lisbon.
