Shayan Cannefax

Shayan Cannefax began their career in 2008 as an Office Manager at Autonique, Inc. In 2013, they moved to H2R Market Research as a Surveyor. In 2015, they joined Central Bancompany, Inc. as a Modeling & Advanced Analytics Manager. Shayan was later promoted to Sr. Quantitative Risk Analyst, where they built a scorecard model using logistic regression to recommend underwriting decisions for the bank's indirect auto portfolio, automated the pricing and underwriting fair lending reviews for the mortgage portfolio, and developed the model risk management framework for the Holding Company. Shayan then became a Compliance Analyst, where they designed and implemented statistical fair lending analysis to detect and monitor fair lending compliance for consumer loans, worked with affiliate banks, business lines, and technology team to identify and obtain key data, and maintained appropriate levels of documentation outlining analysis methodology and findings.

Shayan Cannefax obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Statistics from the University of Missouri-Columbia between 2010 and 2015. In May 2015, they also obtained a Multicultural Certificate from the same university.
