Emil Bandoni is an accomplished economist with extensive experience in the macro-financial sector. Currently serving as an Economist in the Macro-Financial Division at the Central Bank of Ireland since January 2023, Emil is also a member of the ESCB ChaMP research network focused on monetary policy transmission. Prior roles include Associate Economist in a macroprudential mortgage measures team and Analyst in macroprudential analysis at the European Central Bank since September 2021, where Emil is a Research Fellow within the DG Financial Stability. Emil’s academic journey includes pursuing an MPhil/PhD in Economics at University College Dublin, ongoing studies as a visiting student in Financial Engineering at KU Leuven, and previous degrees in Economics, Quantitative Finance, and Finance from esteemed institutions such as Collegio Carlo Alberto and Università degli Studi di Torino.
