Maxim Chupilkin

Maxim Chupilkin is an Associate Economist in Global Economics at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) since September 2021, focusing on geoeconomics and macroeconomic analysis for the Transition Report and Regional Economic Prospects. Previous roles include Analyst in Macroeconomic Analysis at EBRD, where reports were prepared for the President and Board of Directors, and Research Internships at Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and the University of Chicago. Chupilkin has published research on economic impacts related to trade and geopolitical issues, and possesses a strong educational background, including a DPhil in International Relations from the University of Oxford and a Master of Arts from the University of Chicago.
