Paul Wrafter B.comm

Paul Wrafter has a strong and diverse work experience in the field of auditing and finance. Paul is currently working as the Head of Internal Audit at the Central Bank of Ireland, where they lead and coaches the internal audit team to deliver high-performance levels and ensure adequate risk management and internal control.

Prior to their current role, Paul worked at AIB in various positions, including Acting Strategic Head of Audit and Head of Audit for Treasury, Wholesale, and Institutional Banking. Paul also served as an Audit Manager at Danske Bank, where they gained valuable experience in managing audits.

Paul's experience extends beyond the banking sector as they were the European Statutory Controller at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. Additionally, they worked at Ernst & Young as an Audit Manager and Senior/Manager in Fraud, Investigation, and Dispute Services. In this role, they conducted corporate investigations and played a crucial role in ensuring compliance with legal guidelines.

Throughout their career, Paul has demonstrated their expertise in auditing, risk management, and internal control. Paul'sdiverse experience in both public and private sectors makes him a valuable asset in the financial industry.

Paul Wrafter B.Comm, ACA, CFE obtained their Bachelor of Commerce degree in International Business and Business Management from University College Dublin. Paul attended the university from 1997 to 2010.
