Safiya al Balushi

Safiya Al Balushi has built a strong career in financial data analysis and reporting, currently serving as the Head of Payment Systems Data Analysis & Reporting Section at the Central Bank of Oman since April 2021, with prior experience in an acting capacity as Section Head and as an Associate Payment Systems Specialist. Before that, Safiya worked at Port of Duqm Company SAOC from August 2016 to April 2021 in roles including Account Payable Officer and Junior Accountant. An early career included an internship at Oman Shipping Company in 2015. Safiya holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance with a minor in Marketing from Sultan Qaboos University, earned between 2011 and 2016.
