Shahin Mahmudzade

Shahin Mahmudzade, CFA, currently serves as a Member of The Supervisory Board at the Azerbaijan Deposits Insurance Fund since April 2024 and as Executive Director and Counselor to the Governor at the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan since July 2023. Prior to these roles, Shahin was the Director of Risk Management at PASHA Life from August 2018 to June 2023, overseeing the credit, market, and liquidity risks division, and began the career as an Economist at the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan from October 2016 to August 2018. Shahin has further experience in quantitative research from Ak Investment Inc. in 2016. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Finance from Sabanci University and Bachelor’s Degrees in Finance from Ankara University and in Business Administration from KU Leuven.
