Brian Kelleher

Brian Kelleher is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in legal and policy development. Currently serving as the Director of Policy and Research Development at the Central Bank of The UAE since August 2025, Brian previously held significant roles at the Abu Dhabi Investment Council, including Senior Legal Counsel and Legal Counsel from September 2018 to August 2025. Brian's earlier career includes a position as Senior Associate at Trowers & Hamlins from January 2013 to September 2018, and as Solicitor at Matheson Ormsby Prentice from May 2008 to December 2011. Academically, Brian holds a Bachelor of Business and Legal Studies from University College Dublin and UNSW, along with various professional qualifications, including a Diploma in Islamic Finance from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, an International Certificate in Wealth and Investment Management from The CISI, and a Certificate in ESG Investing from the CFA Institute.
