Colin McAvoy

Colin McAvoy currently serves as the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager at Central City Concern, overseeing recruitment and talent branding for Oregon's largest social services non-profit since August 2022. Previously, Colin held various roles at Workday, including Talent Acquisition Manager for Talent Brand Programs, where resources and guidance were provided to global teams, and Talent Acquisition Manager (Interim) for Diversity Sourcing, focusing on establishing the company’s first diversity sourcing team. Colin also directed the global recruiting event strategy as Global Event Marketing Manager, leading the organization’s talent branding and marketing efforts. Earlier experience includes serving as Recruitment Marketing Manager at CKR Interactive, where social media and content strategy were developed, and as a Broadcast Television News Anchor at ABC News, producing live broadcasts that reached over 250,000 viewers. Additionally, Colin worked as a Broadcast Television News Writer at NBC News. Colin holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications Studies from San Jose State University.
