Jerry Rains

Jerry Rains has extensive work experience in the field of information technology and project management. Jerry started their career as a Project Manager at EMCOR Group, Inc. in 1999, managing projects until 2004. Jerry then joined United Technologies as a Senior Project Engineer, where they developed and managed Building Automation System projects and provided engineering and consulting services to clients. In 2012, Jerry became the Chief Technology Officer at Southeastern University, overseeing technology operations until 2020. Jerry then joined Lakeland Regional Health-Florida as an Information Systems Manager, responsible for clinical applications until 2022. Currently, Jerry holds the position of Director of Information Technology at Central Florida Health Care, Inc. since 2022.

Jerry Rains has a Master's Degree in Information Technology from the University of Denver. Jerry also holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Colorado State University and an Associate's degree in Heating, Air Conditioning, Ventilation, and Refrigeration from Ivy Tech Community College.

In addition to their formal education, Jerry has obtained certifications in VMware vSphere 7 Professional: 01 Networking from LinkedIn and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)². The month and year of obtaining the CISSP certification are not specified.
