Cheryl Powers has worked as a Human Resources professional with experience in various roles. From January 2015 to September 2020, they served as a Human Resources Manager at FX Design Group. In this position, they handled HR responsibilities for the company. Starting in January 2022, Cheryl joined Central Florida Kidney Centers, Inc. In this new role, they currently serve as the Director of Human Resources.

Cheryl Powers has a diverse education history, with a strong focus on human resources and labor relations. From 2021 to 2022, they pursued two Master's degrees at the Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations (SMLR), specializing in Human Resources Management and Labor and Employment Relations. Prior to that, they attended the University of Central Florida from 2012 to 2017, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies with a concentration in Employment and Compliance, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.

In addition to their formal education, Cheryl has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. In 2020, they achieved the Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) certification from HRCI and the Inclusive Workplace Culture Specialty from SHRM. In 2017, they completed the Certificate in Behavioral Forensics from the University of Central Florida and became a SHRM-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP). Lastly, in 2020, they obtained the Certified Internal Investigation Administrator certification from HRCERTIFICATION.
