Debra Baker

Debra Baker has extensive work experience in the field of HR. Debra started their career in 1992 as an Employee Relations Representative and Recruiter at Amdahl Corp. where they supported the Engineering function and established the company's first HR Service Center. Debra then moved on to EFI in 1995 as an HR Manager. In 1997, Debra joined The Clorox Company as an Employee Relations Consultant, and over the course of their career there, they held various roles including Compensation Analyst, HR Services Manager, Client Manager, and Sr. HR Manager, Talent Management. During their time at The Clorox Company, Debra led several key projects, including the development of talent models and career paths. In 2011, they joined Central Garden & Pet as the Director HR, Pet Segment, where they worked in partnership with multiple company locations and led efforts to attract, develop, and retain talent during a period of transformative change.

Debra Baker completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in French Literature and Modern European Studies from Cornell University from 1985 to 1989. Debra then pursued a Masters degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University, which they completed from 1990 to 1992.
