Lesley Esquivel

Lesley Esquivel has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Lesley began their career as an Account Representative at AT&T from 1988 to 1991. Following that, they worked as an Audit Senior at Levy, Erlanger & Company LLP, focusing on homeowners associations and completing various audit and review engagements from 1991 to 1993. From 1993 to 1995, Lesley held the position of Operational Auditor at First Collateral Services, where they performed financial and operational reviews of mortgage banking customers. Lesley then joined Central Garden & Pet as a Controller, overseeing financial review, analysis, planning, and reporting for a division with annual sales of $200MM. Lesley was eventually promoted to the role of Director of Payroll, where they successfully managed and launched a full HCM implementation for 4,000 employees. Lesley led payroll operations, integrated new acquisitions, and implemented various process improvements and configurations. Recently, Lesley has taken on the role of Sr. Director, Payroll and HR Systems at Central Garden & Pet, where they continue to provide HCM support and drive system improvements.

Lesley Esquivel obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting from California State University - East Bay between 1987 and 1991.
