Steve Barton

Steve Barton has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Steve began their career as a Deputy Sheriff at the Richland County Sheriff's Office from 1993 to 1996. Following this, they joined Central Garden & Pet and held various positions, including Operations Manager, General Manager and Vice President of the Carolina & Virginia Division, Vice President of Special Projects, and finally Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Grass Seed and Branded Controls Business Unit. Throughout their career, Steve has demonstrated strong leadership skills and has been credited with achieving profitability gains, launching successful product lines, and driving business growth.

Steve Barton attended Clemson University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Education. Prior to college, they completed their high school education at Irmo High School.
