Wes Eagan

Wes Eagan has extensive experience in finance and accounting, spanning over 30 years. Wes has held various positions in multiple companies such as Central Garden & Pet, Ecolab, Central Garden and Pet (Central Life Sciences subsidiary), Sandoz, E.J. Brach Corporation, and Ace Hardware Corporation.

At Central Garden & Pet, Wes currently holds the position of VP Finance & Accounting, a role they have been in since 2017.

During their time at Ecolab from 2012 to 2017, Wes worked as a Senior Manager / Director Division Finance. In this role, they provided comprehensive financial support for global Paper and Colloidal businesses with revenues exceeding $500M. Wes was responsible for overseeing month-end close, providing analysis and review, and consolidating a global industry view while offering guidance to business leadership.

At Central Garden and Pet (Central Life Sciences subsidiary), Wes held multiple roles. From 2010 to 2012, they served as the Controller, overseeing accounting, control, planning, and analysis efforts. Wes directed month-end close, forecast, annual plan, and year-end audit. From 2007 to 2010, they were the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, leading company planning and analysis efforts. Wes also worked as an Assistant Controller from 2001 to 2007, and as the Manager of Financial Services from 1997 to 2000.

Prior to their time at Central Garden and Pet, Wes worked at Sandoz from 1993 to 1997. Wes held the position of Senior Cost Accountant and later Senior Accountant, where they performed reconciliations, analyses, and reporting for inventory, cost of sales, PPV, and supply chain. Wes also handled physical inventories, month-end close, and year-end audits.

Before joining Sandoz, Wes was an employee of E.J. Brach Corporation from 1991 to 1993, where they worked as a Senior Accountant. Wes prepared financial statements, conducted account reconciliations, and assisted with year-end audits and special projects.

Wes began their career at Ace Hardware Corporation from 1987 to 1990. Wes held various positions, starting as a Jr. Staff Accountant and working their way up to Senior Accountant. In these roles, they were responsible for journal entries, financial statements, variance analysis, fixed asset and capital expenditure processing, as well as general ledger and fixed asset system maintenance.

Overall, Wes Eagan has a diverse background in finance and accounting, having worked in leadership and strategic roles for large global corporations, as well as handling financial reporting and analysis in various other positions throughout their career.

Wes Eagan holds an MBA in Finance from DePaul Driehaus College of Business. Wes also has a BA in Accounting from North Central College (NCC). Additionally, they have completed the C.P.A. program.
