Jim Hughes has worked in the corporate sector since 1994. Jim began their career at Upsher-Smith Laboratories, Inc. as a Marketing and Sales Leader in 1994. In 2000, they moved to Medtronic as a Business Development Manager, where they led activities related to the development and management of relationships with strategic pharmaceutical and pharmacy partners. In 2003, they returned to Upsher-Smith Laboratories, Inc. as the Chief Marketing Officer, where they were a member of the Executive Leadership Team and responsible for leading the activities of Product/Brand Management, Marketing Operations, Conventions/Medical Meetings, Commercial Analytics, Market Research, Managed Markets/Market Access, and Early Stage Commercialization. In 2013, they became the CEO/Chief Operating Officer at JG Viventem. In 2015, they moved to SportsEngine as the Senior Director of Marketing. In 2017, they joined Leadous as a Customer Success. Most recently, in 2018, they became the Chief Marketing Officer at Central Logic.

Jim Hughes has attended three universities: University of South Florida, Saint John's University, and University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business.
