Gerard Queally

Gerard Queally is the President and CEO of the Central Maine Area Agency on Aging. Gerard has over fifteen years of experience in the finance and healthcare industries.

Gerard began their career in the finance industry, working for Harbor Family Services from January 2006 to June 2011. Gerard was the CFO and a member of the Leadership Team. Gerard was responsible for budgeting, financial accounting and reporting, financial forecasting, Private Non-Medical Institution cost settlement, payroll, risk management, asset management, contract negotiations, and the information technology infrastructure. Gerard also led the divestiture of the agency’s finance and business operation from its former parent company in Massachusetts.

In 2012, Gerard transitioned to the healthcare industry, taking on the role of President & CEO at the Central Maine Area Agency on Aging. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the budget, finance, and administration of the organization. Gerard has successfully restructured the agency’s short and long term debt and increased credit line, procured financing for two stand-alone outpatient and medicine management clinics, and established 3rd party insurance contracts with every major health insurer in Maine. Under their leadership, the agency has also successfully completed a Council on Accreditation review for both finance and risk management standards.

Gerard Queally has an MBA in Finance and Human Resources from Southern New Hampshire University, a BS in Computer Science / Mathematics from the State University of New York Maritime College, and a Certification from the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists in Certified Employee Benefit Specialist.
