Phil Wendland serves as the Director of Basketball Operations at Central Michigan University since July 2011, where responsibilities include assisting the Head Coach and coaching staff with administrative tasks for the women’s basketball program, coordinating team travel, organizing events, and overseeing managers and practice players. Prior experience includes roles as Graduate Administrative Assistant and Head Team Manager at the University of Michigan, focusing on managing practice player programs and coordinating youth camps. Additionally, Phil has interned at Palace Sports & Entertainment, promoting the Detroit Shock through grassroots marketing. Phil holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Sports Management from the University of Michigan.
